Her feiert die Frauen aus Skegness – ihre Herkunft, ihre Wege in die Stadt und was das Leben an der Küste für sie bedeutet.
Jede Frau erzählt ein Stück ihrer Geschichte mit ihren eigenen Worten. Manche wurden hier geboren, andere haben Skegness später zu ihrem Zuhause gemacht. Gemeinsam bilden ihre Stimmen ein lebendiges Porträt der Stadt.
Entstanden für die Roswitha-Feierlichkeiten 2026 in Bad Gandersheim, würdigt Her eine Frau, die ihre Stimme fand. Die Ausstellung zeigt eine Reihe fotografischer Porträts, die jeweils einen Moment, eine Erinnerung und eine Stimme festhalten.

Her celebrates the women of Skegness ~ where they've come from, how they found their way here, and what life by the coast has meant to them.
Each woman shares a fragment of her story in her own words. Some were born here, others arrived later, but all are part of the fabric of this town. Together, their voices create a living portrait of Skegness.
Created for Bad Gandersheim's 2026 celebrations of Roswitha (Hrosvitha), a woman who found her voice, Her presents a series of photographic portraits, each capturing a moment, a memory and a voice.
